Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture Committee
The Missouri
State Fair Sale of Champions is held every August during the fair in the
Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall. This special auction will feature the Grand
Champion and reserve Grand Champion steers, barrows, lambs, meat goats,
pens of chickens and pens of rabbits from 4-H and FFA livestock shows.
The sale recognizes the accomplishments of 12 young agriculturists with
their livestock projects and up to 25 high school seniors will receive a
$1,000 scholarship and one $2,500 scholarship will be awarded by the MSF
Youth in Agriculture Committee.
